Club Policies Statement

​

The Vale Tridents club and committee are fully committed to upholding the standards and guidelines set by British Triathlon. We adhere to all required policies, including safeguarding, equality & diversity, and clean sport, to ensure a safe, inclusive, and fair environment for everyone involved.

 

All coaches are required to follow the British Triathlon Code of Ethics and Coaches Code of Conduct, maintaining high standards of integrity, respect, and professionalism at all times.

 

We regularly review our practices, policies, and club constitution to ensure we meet best practice and maintain our British Triathlon accreditation. We are proud to hold the Bronze TriMark accreditation, which recognises our commitment to providing a well-managed, safe, and inclusive club environment in line with British Triathlon’s procedures and guidelines.

 

All concerns are taken seriously and handled appropriately, and we encourage open communication within our club.

 

By affiliating with British Triathlon, we confirm our agreement to these guidelines and our commitment to continuous improvement.

Safeguarding

 

British Triathlon have an online reporting form for the triathlon community to use which can also be completed anonymously. Concerns can also be raised via email to concern@britishtriathlon.org.
